Mystery of Lawlessness
A PEEK INTO THE FUTURE OF THE WORLD:
THE MYSTERY OF LAWLESSNESS
What is it and where did it come from?
Lawlessness, the desire to be disobedient to the known will of God, came from the first human, Adam, when he ate fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. That curse, the sin nature, was then passed into every person born on earth.
As a result of mankind’s first parents, all people sin. “If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.” (1 John 1:8)
A Propensity toward Evil
Definition of Propensity:
an often intense natural inclination or preference;
an inclination or natural tendency to behave in a particular way
The Apostle John defined the pull of sin this way: “We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one.” (1 John 5:17)
The Only Solution
Lawlessness is imbedded in every person at conception. The only way to get rid of it is to be born again a new creation. How?
By total surrender of self and accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and living for Him. He took all sin (the lawlessness nature), sickness, disease, lack, poverty, and chastisement upon Himself, and by His death, burial, resurrection, and ascension, the born again child is disconnected from lawlessness.
Like in the Garden of Eden, mankind once again must make a decision: choose Jesus (the Tree of Life) and be redeemed from the curse and have eternal life, or suffer the coming wrath of God on earth in the tribulation and the eternal punishment of hell that follows!
The End Days and The Tribulation
When this “gospel of the Kingdom is preached in every nation,” The Glorious Church shall be removed. (Matthew 24:14)
Haters of The Gospel
Most of those “left behind” will have knowledge of what has taken place.
Yes, they will know that Jesus removed His people from earth and they will be happy that those who preached against sin are gone! Multitudes of those left behind will have given themselves over to witchcraft, sorcery, and all kinds of evil and sexual deviancy. Extreme depravity will be prevalent throughout the world, just like in the days before Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed with fire from Heaven. (Genesis 19:13)
The Scripture: 2 Thessalonians 2:3-7
Paul wrote a letter to Believers who had mistakenly been told that the rapture had already taken place. He reveals to them what things must happen first.
“Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way.” Read 2 Thessalonians 2:8-14.
Lawlessness — What is it?
Vines Dictionary Definition:
“Whoever commits sin (a practice, not the committal of an act) also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. (1 John 3:4) This definition of sin sets forth its essential character as the rejection of the law, or will of God and the substitution of the will of self.
Recap
Lawlessness passed from Adam and Eve to all those born on earth.
There are only two groups of people on earth: Those that are saved; those that are lost.
When The Church is removed, sin will explode in perversion and lawlessness.
All things will be infected!

The End Days and The Glorious Church
We can see that the advancement of bizarre evil behavior, like the murder of the unborn/or newly born, or the transgender movement to change a child’s God-given identity, is because evil is being embraced.
The track is being laid for the future when The Church is gone, but for now our job is to hold it back. How?

The Call to Intercession
Intercession is approaching God on behalf of others; to stand in the gap for them so God can do His work in their hearts by His Holy Spirit. Father waits for and looks forward to your prayer time with Him. Since faith is dependent on the Word of God, it is vitally important that you study and get the Word in your heart so power will come forth out of your mouth to change natural things.
And prayer always lays track for REVIVAL!
This is that … which produces answered prayer.
“I am the vine, you are the branches…without Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out …If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.”
(Read John 15:1-8)

Lawlessness — What is it?
Vines Dictionary Definition:
- Lawlessness means without law; where the thought is not simply that of doing what is unlawful, but of flagrant defiance of the known will of God;
- the mystery of lawlessness is not recognized in the world, for it does not consist merely in confusion and disorder;
- the display of lawlessness by the lawless one will be the effect of the attempt by the powers of darkness to overthrow the divine government.
“Whoever commits sin (a practice, not the committal of an act) also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. (1 John 3:4) This definition of sin sets forth its essential character as the rejection of the law, or will of God and the substitution of the will of self.
